Fairs for Campus, Community

August 30, 2017 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

Welcome community partners and nonprofit organizations! Each year, UC Merced and the Office of Student Life hosts three fairs during the second week of classes as part of the campuswide Welcome Week.

The first day, Aug. 29, we host the Registered Club and Organization Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., dedicated to student organizations. It's a great opportunity for new and returning students to build new connections. This fair is reserved for RCO tabling, but is open to the community to visit and network with campus organizations.

The second day, Aug. 30, we host the Community Involvement Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., dedicated to community nonprofits, services, educational programs, faith-based or other community resources. This fair is open to community partners, nonprofits, educational services and community resources. Space is limited, but reservations are still open. Please use to reserve tabling space. The event also includes the UC Merced Campus Resource Fair, which provides opportunities for networking and new relationships.

The third day, Aug. 31, is the Catspots Business Fair, designed to help support local businesses and Catspot participants. It also runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fair is open to Catspots participants and businesses or services offering students discounts or opportunities.  To find out more about the Catspots Business program, go to .
